Cabarrus County teachers are awesome! Many of our teachers have amazing and innovative ideas that require more funding than schools have to offer. Some spend money out of their own pockets on unique classroom projects. The CCEF Classroom Grant Program is designed to support our teachers in providing inventive and creative student learning opportunities. We recently had the honor of awarding the following grants:
- Bert Thomas Storytelling Grant - Corey Clark, Roberta Road Middle
- David Fitts Community Service Grant - Liz Benstead, Rocky River Elementary
- Strick Dalton Innovation Classroom Grant - Julie Stephenson & Bonnie Miranda, Mt. Pleasant High
- Pre-K to 12th grade Grant - Margaret Cuthbertson, Odell Primary
