Meet Pedro Cruz, our enthusiastic Digital Marketing Intern. Pedro is a junior majoring in Business Analytics at UNCC's Belk College of Business, with a keen interest in pursuing a career in sports analytics. He graduated from Carson Newman High School in Salisbury, NC, and transferred to UNCC from Rowan Cabarrus Community College, where he earned his associate degree. Pedro is passionate about soccer, both playing and watching, with Club Deportivo Guadalajara (Chivas) and Charlotte FC being his favorite teams. In high school, he earned all-county and all-conference awards in soccer. Outside of academics and work, Pedro enjoys spending time with family and friends. His favorite aspect of college life is the opportunity to meet new people and embrace new experiences. We're thrilled to have Pedro on our team, bringing his passion for sports and analytics to our projects.

This partnership provides UNCC students the opportunity to gain valuable work experience by working with local nonprofits for 10 weeks during the summer.
