Every grant represents an opportunity for teachers to bring creative, hands-on learning experiences to life—making a lasting difference for students, classrooms, and schools throughout Cabarrus County.
Who Can Apply
Open to all PreK–12 educators in Cabarrus County Schools.
Projects must directly impact student learning.
Some grants may have additional eligibility requirements (see details in instructions).
Types of Grants
CCEF’s Inspire IMPACT Classroom Grants support creative PreK–12 projects that enhance student learning, encourage student engagement, and bring innovative ideas to life.
Strick Dalton Innovation Classroom Grant
This signature grant honors Strick Dalton’s legacy by recognizing an exceptionally innovative and creative project that has the potential to transform student learning.
General PK-12 Classroom Grants
General Classroom Grants support innovative PreK–12 projects across all grade levels and subject areas. Teachers may request funding for materials, experiences, or instructional approaches that strengthen student learning and would not otherwise be possible through regular school funding.
Specialty Grants
Based on available funding, CCEF may also offer specialty grants connected to a particular subject area, educational priority, or community need. Any specialty grant opportunities and eligibility requirements will be identified in the annual grant application.

We encourage teachers to begin thinking about innovative project ideas early so they have time to develop a strong proposal before the application deadline. Complete application guidelines, available grant opportunities, and eligibility requirements will be available when the grant cycle opens on September 15.
