We were looking forward to seeing the amazing impact of another successful Cabarrus County Career Connections Day where companies found valuable employees and students learned about careers available here in Cabarrus County and how to prepare for them.

Unfortunately, with the announcement of two presumptive positive cases of the COVID-19 coronavirus in Mecklenburg County today and the fast spreading nature of the virus, the decision has been made to cancel the Cabarrus County Career Connections Day that was scheduled for April 7, 2020. No decision has been made as to whether the event will be postponed to a later date.

With this decision, all payments received will be refunded in the next 2-3 business days. For those paying online, the refund will be charged back to the paying credit card. For those who paid by check, all refund checks will be mailed to the address provided on your registration form.

If you have any questions, please email Rusty Parker or call 704.260.5634 or Amy Gough or 704.260.5608.

The Cabarrus County Career Connections Day is no ordinary career fair. It is an interactive hands-on day where students can explore potential careers, interact with local employers and hear dynamic speakers prepare them for the workforce. High school juniors and seniors from both Cabarrus County Schools and Kannapolis City Schools will be invited to attend this exciting event that will help them see their future and prepare them for it!
