We greatly appreciate your willingness to support our students as they learn more about career opportunities in the Cabarrus County area. Volunteers will be provided information prior to the Cabarrus County Career Connection Day on what each role entails. When checking in, you will be assigned a role and given an instruction sheet and time slot in that area. Examples of volunteer assignments are as follows: greeting students at walk in, ushering students to seats or through arena to next session, monitoring hospitality/restroom areas, ushering students to buses when their session is over, helping the flow of students to their next activity, etc,

We were looking forward to seeing the amazing impact of another successful Cabarrus County Career Connections Day where companies found valuable employees and students learned about careers available here in Cabarrus County and how to prepare for them.

Unfortunately, with the announcement of two presumptive positive cases of the COVID-19 coronavirus in Mecklenburg County today and the fast spreading nature of the virus, the decision has been made to cancel the Cabarrus County Career Connections Day that was scheduled for April 7, 2020. No decision has been made as to whether the event will be postponed to a later date.

With this decision, all payments received will be refunded in the next 2-3 business days. For those paying online, the refund will be charged back to the paying credit card. For those who paid by check, all refund checks will be mailed to the address provided on your registration form.
