CCEF Receives Facebook Marketing SupportActionSprout web

Posted: December 2, 2015

The Cabarrus County Education Foundation is 1 of 2,000 nonprofits in the United States to be selected for the ActionSprout Facebook ad credits test project.

ActionSprout is the leading Facebook tool for causes. It encourages people to moved beyond like, share and comment and engages them around the activities that matter most to any organization - volunteering, fundraising, advocacy events, etc.

In an initiative to help nonprofits increase their awareness and increase engagement on social media, nonprofits were asked to submit their request for free ad campaigns to the ActionSprout team November 1 thru 15. As a result, the CCEF will be receiving three months of paid credits as part of this project.

Both ActionSprout and Facebook are committed to finding ways to help nonprofit organizations get the most out of their Facebook efforts.

"We are thrilled to have been selected for this campaign. It is a much needed marketing "boost" that we hope will provide many returns -- mainly in our attempts to increase our audience and expand our mission! Thank you, ActionSprout, for giving us additional support this holiday season and for all that you do to support the nonprofit sector" - Rachel Wilkes, CCEF Executive Director
